OK so I had a vacation in Cali and then I got sick (it takes true talent to catch a cold vacationing in SoCal from Chi) and I got lazy and completely disregarded this whole theme.
I have listened to all the songs in the meantime and honestly this year is so uninspiring that I decided it doesn't make sense to give each song it's own "post-a-day".
So why top 13? Like I said, this year leaves a lot to be desired. I started making my list and could come up with only 9. What kind of list is that? haha After those 9 there were few songs that were fine and I actually enjoyed them depending on my mood. So I decided to have a top 15. But after 13 i ran out of excuses why the certain song deserves to be on the list, and then I thought, 13 is a pretty cool number.

EUROVISION 2013 - SONG A DAY: Ukraine

After failing couple times in previous years Zlata Ognevich was voted by the viewers to sing in Malmo under Ukranian flag.

Eurovision 2013 - Song a Day: Russia

This was the first year Russia has held the wide world popular contest - The Voice. The winner of that show - Dina Garipova - has been chosen to represent Russia in Malmo this May. Her team worked with Swedish song writers and here's what they came up with:

EUROVISION 2013: SONG A DAY - NETHERLANDS

Anouk - the most popular female rock singer in Netherlands - has been chosen to represent her home country in Eurovision 2013 with the song Birds.
There was no national selection, and official video is just something very home made looking. I really like the lyrics, so when i found this video, i decided to use it.

EUROVISION 2013: SONG A DAY - Croatia

Croatia has chosen an all male acapella group Klappa s Mora with the song Mižerja to represent the country in Malmo. The group consists of six klappa singers from five different klappa groups.
